These 2 precious 4 wk. old Silky Terrier Male pups are ready for the 4th of July!! They keep singing, "Born in the USA....Born in the USA". They want to celebrate , and see which nice family is going to choose them for their very own "special boy"!!!!

These 2 precious Silky fella's are really looking forward to this week to see who their new owners will be. The Silkys from Lulu's X Sonny Boys litter will be chosen next week, and they are so excited about it!!!! I probably won't post pics of this litter again until Monday, July 7th because I want to get pics of the pups w/ their new owners. I can't wait....this is an exciting time for me, too!!!

The Silky Terriers pictured above are from our "HavanaSilky" litter born June 10th....these babies are 2 wks. old today!!!! ~Southern Silky Terriers Is Proud To Present Our 2 Wk. Old "HavanaSilky" Designer Pups!!

We are thrilled with our 5 precious"HavanaSilky" puppies. They are 2 wks. old today!!! The Dam is my beautiful creamy-sable Havanese, Princess Lola, and the Sire is my spectacular silver-blonde Silky Terrier, Sonny Boy Prince. The combination of these 2 Toy Breeds resulted in a very special litter. Two of the pups took after their Sire, and are Silky Terriers males. They will be a little "fluffier" due to their Havanese mother. They should be a beautiful creamy-silver color as adults.

The other 3 pups are going to be Havanese, like their mother. We have 2 females....1 is a golden-sable color, and the other is a golden-chocolate-sable color. The little male Havanese is the golden-sable color, and he is the smallest at this date. Our HavanaSilky pups will be registered CKC and ACHC (American Canine Hybrid Club).

We are happy to let you know that our 1st Designer litter of "HavanaSilkys" were born on June 10th! We have 5 sweet little babies-2 Females & 3 Males...1 chocolate-sable, 2 golden-sable, and 2 black & tan pups that look just like Silky babies. The Dam is my beautiful creamy-sable Havanese, Princess Lola, and the Sire is my gorgeous Silky Terrier, Sonny Boy Prince. This "combination of breeds" is very popular on the West Coast, and in the Mid-Western States. The pups will be beautiful with a "Fluffy" and gorgeous haircoat that feels just like a real "Fur Coat"!! UPDATE- 6/16/08- Pups were taken to Dr. Eric, my Vet, this morning for a checkup/ dewclaws removed/ & the 2 Silky pups had their tail docked. He was quite taken w/ the 3 golden sable pups & wants to see pics of them in several wks. That made me feel proud!!! :) The picture is of my Havanese mom, Princess Lola, when she was a pup...she stole my heart & still has it!!!

~ Silky Girl Dixie & Brother Charlie Had A Great Time At Our "Good-bye" Luau For Our Sweet Silkys That Are Off To Start Their New Lives Very Soon!! ~

Chrisi and Sonny Boys' five 7 wk. old Silky babies celebrated today at a "Luau" party to say "Good-bye" to each other. The pups will start leaving us next weekend to go to their happy new homes, and owners that already are counting the days til' their Silky babies are with them permanently. This has been a sweet, kindred-spirits Silky litter, and they will be missed very much. We are so grateful to the wonderful people that they are going to, and we hope you will stay in touch, and send us updated pics of this "special" litter of Silky pups....they are dear to my heart!!!!

At the Luau, the Silky brothers tried to get Dixie to do the "Hula" for them, but she was a little shy!!!! She wants her girl, Sydney, to show her how to do it when she gets to her great new home in Colorado with the O'Hare Family. Dixie is in the 1st two pics, and Charlie is in the last 2 photos. Silky Boy Charlie can't wait to be with his Abby in West Point, Ga. He is ready to have lots of hugs and kisses from his girl, and to be the "center of attention"!!
