We had such an exciting and fun time this weekend watching as our adorable 5 week old Silky Terrier pups were chosen by their new owners!!!! They will be traveling to their new forever homes in @ 3-4 wks. to start the next happy phase of their life with their new families!!! I am so grateful and happy, knowing that all my beautiful Silky babies are going to such wonderful people that will love and take care of them for the rest of their precious little lives. ~ Novac (M # 1) Has The Cutest Owner, Courtney and The Spratlin Family From Carrollton, Georgia!!! Novac Is Such A "Special Silky Boy"!! ~

It didn't take Courtney long at all to pick out Novac-Male # 1 (Blue) for her precious Silky fella'. It was love at first sight, I think, and I do believe I saw a smile on Novac's cute little face when Courtney was holding and loving him! He looked very much at home in her arms! I think Novac is going to love being at home in Carrollton, Ga. with Courtney, mom, Darlene and the male members of The Spratlin family. Courtney's brother and dad were at a baseball campout having "guy fun" so they were unable to join them to pick out Novac. I know Novac is going to be so happy with Courtney and his Lab doggie family members!
~ Abby Chose The Adorable Little "Charlie" (M # 2) As Her New Silky Fella'. Abby Is A College Student, And Lives In West Point, Georgia !!! ~

Abby from West Point, Georgia has been waiting for a Silky puppy for about 4 mos. now!!!! Abby is in college at Columbus State University, and is in Elementary Education. One day Abby hopes to be a 1st Grade teacher, just like I was for so many years!!! I know Abby will make a great teacher and be a wonderful mom to her little Charlie. Abby is so sweet, caring, and is such a good example of strong faith and character. Charlie is one lucky little Silky boy...I know he will be loved to death and be a great companion for Abby for many years to come! I so enjoyed meeting Abby's mom, and sister Cameron.....pictured with Abby and "Charlie".

Susan and her husband couldn't be with us this weekend as they are visiting their son and his family out in Ok. and Neb. this Memorial Day Weekend. Susan was partial to our little Male # 3
with the orange collar from the very beginning...so wishes do come true!!! I know Dudley will be very loved and spoiled when he goes to his new home in Springville, Al. to start his happy life with Susan and Don. They are a very nice couple, and I know Dudley will be in loving hands!!! Susan is pictured holding her baby boy on a prior visit.

Our beautiful little Dixie has many wonderful adventures awaiting her when she is at home in Steamboat Springs, Colorado with The O'Hare Family....daughter Sydney, mom, Brande and good ole' dad. She also has a doggie big brother waiting to take care of her, too....you'll see him next week. The O'Hares' are pictured here on their Spring Break trip to Mexico....FUN!!! Unfortunately, distance kept them from us this weekend, but they were off having fun on a camping trip near the Utah/ Co. border! Dixie will have a great time with this fun-loving family!!!

~ Our Little Dixie Girl and Male # 1 Are Very Beautiful Silky Pups!! ~ ( RESERVED) ~
Our precious little female Silky pup, Dixie, (Pink) and handsome Male # 1 (Blue) are so adorable, as are their 3 brothers shown in the entries below. All the Silky pups are now enjoying real puppy "mush" in addition to momma' Chrisi's milk. They are really finding their cute little "chirping" voices, and they seem to be really genuinely happy to see me coming at each visit. They recognize my voice, and try to be the first one to climb up onto my lap!!!! They are now maturing enough where you can begin to see differences in them all. I must say they are a happy little group of pups, and you can tell they love each other very much already!! Next weekend we find out which Silky males will be Novac, Charlie, and little Dudley as their new owners make their choices. I'm so excited to see which pup goes to all the wonderful people that have RESERVED them many weeks ago!!!!!

Our Silky Male # 2 (Green) and Silky Male # 3 (Orange) are so cute! I can't believe they will be 4 weeks old this Sunday!! They have grown and changed so much in just one week. They are really cute walking around, and playing gently with one another. They are a very loving group of brothers and they are very sweet to their little sister, Dixie!!!

SOUTHERN SILKY TERRIERS SAYS "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY" TO ALL OUR PAST AND FUTURE SILKY MOMS!!!
We hope all our past, present, and future Silky Moms' have a wonderful, happy "Mothers' Day Weekend"!!! Our precious 19 day old Silky babies are already anxious to meet their new moms and families!!!!
They are all so cute, now that they have their sweet little eyes open! They have been really "something" to see this week as they go from scooting around, to trying to get their legs up under them to try and walk. They haven't mastered walking yet, but it won't be long now!
*We are expecting another Silky Terrier litter sometime around the first week of June. The Sire is Sonny Boy Prince, and the Dam is Enchanted Lil' Lulu. Both Silkys are gorgeous with a creamy-silver silky body coat. If you are interested in one of our up-coming pups from this litter, please call soon, as I've already had several people who have shown interest in this litter.

We Think Our Petite Little Female, "Dixie", and Our Stunning Male # 1 Are Simply "Priceless" Silky Pups!!! ***BOTH PUPS ON HOLD***
Our 2 week old litter of Silky Terrier babies are getting cuter and cuter by the day!! They are all so sweet, and love to be held and loved on!!! Their little eyes should be opening in the next few days, and then they will start scooting here and there and everywhere!!!! They are still eating and sleeping alot, and making cute little sounds!!
We are using this color code to track the individual pups as they grow, develope, and change in the next many weeks. You may want to go back to the older post, and see if you can tell any differences in the pups at this early stage of their growth.
Female- "Dixie"- Reddish-Pink
Male # 1- Blue
Male #2- Green
Male #3-Orange
Male # 4- Yellow- "Lobo"- The pup we are keeping.
