~ Novac (M # 1) Has The Cutest Owner, Courtney and The Spratlin Family From Carrollton, Georgia!!! Novac Is Such A "Special Silky Boy"!! ~

It didn't take Courtney long at all to pick out Novac-Male # 1 (Blue) for her precious Silky fella'. It was love at first sight, I think, and I do believe I saw a smile on Novac's cute little face when Courtney was holding and loving him! He looked very much at home in her arms! I think Novac is going to love being at home in Carrollton, Ga. with Courtney, mom, Darlene and the male members of The Spratlin family. Courtney's brother and dad were at a baseball campout having "guy fun" so they were unable to join them to pick out Novac. I know Novac is going to be so happy with Courtney and his Lab doggie family members!

A Kissing-cousin to the Yorkshire Terrier, the Silky Terrier has a coat that is extremely similar, although not quite so long. The Silky's have a very lustrous haircoat that is NON-SHEDDING.Unlike other terriers, this cheerful little dog was not bred to do any particular hunting job, but purely, and most agreeably, to be a companion animal. Nevertheless, its terrier blood shows through in its active, assertive nature, and in the skill it displays killing vermin in its nature country.Sydney was the birth place of the breed, which was known at one time simply as the "Sydney Silky". Australian and Yorkshire Terriers were used as a part of an intricate cross-breeding program to produce a dog that combined the best features of both types. The Silky Terrier was first shown in Australia in 1907, Britain in 1930, and was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1933. The Silky is a pretty, lively and intelligent animal that is quick to warn of the presence of strangers.
