~ Lola's Beautiful Female HavanaSilky Is Just So Adorable!!! She Will Make Someone Very Happy...Maybe You!!! ~

This 4 week old Black & Tan Female HavanaSilky pup is really so sweet and special!!! Her Dam is my European Imported Havanese, Princess Lola, and her Sire is my very stunning Silky Terrier, Sonny Boy Prince. She will favor her Silky dad, but will have more of a "Fluffy Haircoat" than a normal Silky Terrier. I think this characteristic enhances the look of the HavanaSilky puppies. All the HavanaSilky pups will lighten up immensely as they mature, and will be so beautiful to look at as well as having so many wonderful characteristics to their personality....they are all "people dogs" and are so friendly, smart, loyal, loveable, non-shedding, hypo-allergenic, and on & on & on!!!! :)

A Kissing-cousin to the Yorkshire Terrier, the Silky Terrier has a coat that is extremely similar, although not quite so long. The Silky's have a very lustrous haircoat that is NON-SHEDDING.Unlike other terriers, this cheerful little dog was not bred to do any particular hunting job, but purely, and most agreeably, to be a companion animal. Nevertheless, its terrier blood shows through in its active, assertive nature, and in the skill it displays killing vermin in its nature country.Sydney was the birth place of the breed, which was known at one time simply as the "Sydney Silky". Australian and Yorkshire Terriers were used as a part of an intricate cross-breeding program to produce a dog that combined the best features of both types. The carefully determined result must be counted as a modern success story. The Silky Terrier was first shown in Australia in 1907, Britain in 1930, and was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1933. The Silky is a pretty, lively and intelligent animal that is quick to warn of the presence of strangers. It makes an ideal watchdog and pet for town dwellers with small apartments, but also enjoys country strolls.
