~ Dori's 2 Three Week Old Male HavanaSilky Pups Are Absolutely Adorable!!!! Please Meet My Darling Sable Cuties!!!! ~

My precious Silky Terrier, Adorable Isabella (Dori), and my loveable & entertaining Havanese , JJ (Sir Jumpin' Jack Flash) have 2 of the cutest little male pups you ever set your eyes on!!!!

They were born 1/9/09, and are now 3 wks. & 1 day old. The Sire and Dam to the litter are Registered w/ several Kennel Clubs, and their Hybrid/ Designer pups will be able to be Registered, also. These pups will tend to favor their Havanese Sire as he carries the dominant genes over the female. The pups are a light-golden sable and a darker-sable....both are so cute!!!

The price of all my HavanaSilky pups is $500.00 w/ a non-refundable Deposit of $200.00 due when you Reserve your pup. The pups will be ready for their new owners/ homes at 8 wks. old which will be @ March 6th/7th which happens to be a weekend.

BREED INFORMATION

A Kissing-cousin to the Yorkshire Terrier, the Silky Terrier has a coat that is extremely similar, although not quite so long. The Silky's have a very lustrous haircoat that is NON-SHEDDING.Unlike other terriers, this cheerful little dog was not bred to do any particular hunting job, but purely, and most agreeably, to be a companion animal. Nevertheless, its terrier blood shows through in its active, assertive nature, and in the skill it displays killing vermin in its nature country.Sydney was the birth place of the breed, which was known at one time simply as the "Sydney Silky". Australian and Yorkshire Terriers were used as a part of an intricate cross-breeding program to produce a dog that combined the best features of both types. The carefully determined result must be counted as a modern success story. The Silky Terrier was first shown in Australia in 1907, Britain in 1930, and was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1933. The Silky is a pretty, lively and intelligent animal that is quick to warn of the presence of strangers. It makes an ideal watchdog and pet for town dwellers with small apartments, but also enjoys country strolls. Terrier in spirit, if not in practice, the Silky is an ideal pet for those who want a small companion with a big heart.
