My 3 Beautiful HavaSilky Female Pups are now 8 wks. old. {5/8/12} They are absolutely one of the most wonderful litters I've ever had the Pleasure to Raise and Love..!!!! My baby HavaSilky "Sophie" is now "Spoken For" by a great young couple from Alabama. She and her sisters are such Awesome little girls that will bring so much Joy and Love to their new owners for many years to come. They are Eligible to be Registered w/ CKC Kennel Club, will be UTD on age appropriate puppyshots & wormings, and will come w/ their Individual Puppy Packs w/ all their Info. These pups are non-shedding, hypo-allergenic, very people-oriented, playful, happy-go-lucky companions w/ the sweetest dispositions..!!! Their Sire is my Gorgeous AKC Black w/ white markings Havanese and their Dam is my Adorable Silky Terrier...this combination of Toy Breeds make for a wonderful puppy and adult dog that you'll truly "Treasure" for many many years..!!! **Shipping Available thru Delta's Pet First Program. The pups will need a current Flight Health Certificate for shipping, as well as a shipping crate that meets certain codes. This runs @ $350.00 for the final Flight cost and items needed for shipping, plus the price of the puppy minus the $200.00 Deposit. Final Payment needs to be in cash if picking your pup up or by Money Order if the pup is being shipped @ 2 wks. before the shipping date.

BREED INFORMATION

A Kissing-cousin to the Yorkshire Terrier, the Silky Terrier has a coat that is extremely similar, although not quite so long. The Silky's have a very lustrous haircoat that is NON-SHEDDING.Unlike other terriers, this cheerful little dog was not bred to do any particular hunting job, but purely, and most agreeably, to be a companion animal. Nevertheless, its terrier blood shows through in its active, assertive nature, and in the skill it displays killing vermin in its nature country.Sydney was the birth place of the breed, which was known at one time simply as the "Sydney Silky". Australian and Yorkshire Terriers were used as a part of an intricate cross-breeding program to produce a dog that combined the best features of both types. The carefully determined result must be counted as a modern success story. The Silky Terrier was first shown in Australia in 1907, Britain in 1930, and was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1933. The Silky is a pretty, lively and intelligent animal that is quick to warn of the presence of strangers. It makes an ideal watchdog and pet for town dwellers with small apartments, but also enjoys country strolls. Terrier in spirit, if not in practice, the Silky is an ideal pet for those who want a small companion with a big heart.
