HO HO HO....HERE COMES SANTA CLAUS!!! HE'S PICKING UP THE CHRISTMAS SILKY PUPS TO DELIVER THEM TO THEIR HAPPY NEW OWNERS!! WHAT A BIG SURPRISE!!!!

Silky Male # 3 (Blue Decorated Xmas Collar) will be going to the Christmas tree of 2 brothers that live in Columbiana, Al. This wonderful Silky pup is a "Love Gift" from their sweet grandparents that live in Montgomery. We know the boys will love their beautiful puppy, and he will bring them many years of fun, and companionship....best friends forever!!!!

Silky Male # 2 (Green Xmas Collar) will be surprising a pair of twins from Tuscaloosa, Al. this Christmas. Their sweet mother picked him out for them for a big Christmas "Surprise"!!! A Kissing-cousin to the Yorkshire Terrier, the Silky Terrier has a coat that is extremely similar, although not quite so long. The Silky's have a very lustrous haircoat that is NON-SHEDDING.Unlike other terriers, this cheerful little dog was not bred to do any particular hunting job, but purely, and most agreeably, to be a companion animal. Nevertheless, its terrier blood shows through in its active, assertive nature, and in the skill it displays killing vermin in its nature country.Sydney was the birth place of the breed, which was known at one time simply as the "Sydney Silky". Australian and Yorkshire Terriers were used as a part of an intricate cross-breeding program to produce a dog that combined the best features of both types. The carefully determined result must be counted as a modern success story. The Silky Terrier was first shown in Australia in 1907, Britain in 1930, and was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1933. The Silky is a pretty, lively and intelligent animal that is quick to warn of the presence of strangers. It makes an ideal watchdog and pet for town dwellers with small apartments, but also enjoys country strolls. Terrier in spirit, if not in practice, the Silky is an ideal pet for those who want a small companion with a big heart.
